I would like to use my Apple Watch in express mode for London Transport. Can my wife use my iPhone with the same card right after me?

Is it possible for two people using two devices, both in express mode, to use Apple Pay on London Transport?. They would both be using the same card.

What did London Transport say? Whether this works or not would

be determined by how London Transport set up their system to deal

with multiple payments on the same card in a short period of time.

If in doubt and no answer from London Transport, give it a try. If

it does not work, you will have to get London Transport to fix the problem.

For what it is worth, in the US, on the subway system where I visit,

I can use my watch or iPhone to allow multiple sequential passages

through the turnstiles. I have not tried one device and then a different

device for payment during the same queue through the turnstile.

Each subway/transportation system seems to have their own payment backend,

so YMMV.
