Numbers for Macbook

Hello, I have been trying to align text vertically within a cell in Numbers, but apparently this is only possible in a text box. Any help? Thanks

Why don't all of the numbers in a column not move to the center of the cell when I select the center position. I'm using Ventura OS on Mac mini 2020 M1 and running Numbers v. 12.2.1 I'm wondering why when I highlight a column of numbers and use " Align text to the center" not all of the cells will cooperate, some stay where they are. How can I correct this without going to each of the incorrect cells and rewrite the text again. Thanks

Vertical text in Numbers For some reason, none of methods I've read for making vertical text in a cell seem to be available. Neither Control-click over a cell, nor the Arrange menu, nor the Text submenu under the Format icon leads to an option to turn on vertical text. This is true whether I am trying to format existing text or add text to a new cell. Any suggestions on what the issue is? Steve

Numbers v12.0 text wrapping, Big Sur 11.6.5 I have a cell with 4 lines of text in it but only 3 show up once it wraps. Wrap text is checked. I've used ctrl click on the cell as well as checking the cell format. If I click on the cell it shows all four lines, but when I move to another cell, that 4th line disappears. I have another cell with just an "etc.." that should wrap, but it doesn't show up when the cell wraps. Other cells are wrapping properly.

Yes, also, only possible in a text box.

If vertical or slanted text in cells is important to you then you should consider leaving feedback back with Apple at Numbers > Provide Numbers Feedback in your menu. Don't expect a response but we understand such feedback is collected and considered.
