Ever since the IOS 15 update, if I write “thank you” it keeps auto correcting to “thank your” or I’ll ask “have you…” and it will update to “have your” it makes no sense. It will prioritise your over you on so many of my sentences??

I went to settings —>keyboard—>text replacement and created a new item:
phrase: you
Shortcut: you
It didn’t fully work until I also added:
phrase: your
shortcut: your

Solution: go to keyboards, text replacement, type ‘you’ in both phrase and shortcut. Problem solved.

It sounds like auto-correction is correcting words wrong after you updated your iPhone 11 Pro Max to iOS 15. Does this continue with any app you use? Does toggling Auto-Correction off and on again help? If needed, you can do that in Settings > General > Keyboard.

This happens to me too. When ever I use a phrase that has “you” followed by a verb (“you [verb]”), it highlights the two words and changes “you” to “your.” This only started after the recent update.
Examples:
“Do your have any plans?”
“Are your done with class?”
“I hope your do.“

Hi everyone , if all you guys haven’t change these settings in your iPhone dictionary and keyboard settings eventually those unwanted texts with wrong spelling will shows up all the time , check spelling must be off and the last one too , the first dictionaries must be selected ….see the screenshots
Same issue for me. I end up with "your" instead of "you" constantly. If I type in "you" and hit space it won't change to your but "your" is showing as the predictive text as I am typing. Where I end up with "your" is when I mistype "you" then it autocorrects to your instead of you. It is frustrating as this did not happen before mid-2021.
This finally seems to work. After months of issues. If you type “you” the first time it’ll stay with “you”. If you delete “you” and type it a second time, it’ll insert “your”. If you delete that and retype, it goes to “you’re”, etc. but the first option is always “you” now.
I don’t but i am so annoyed that there’s an entire thread of iphone users complaining about this and they have yet to fix it. like… no one asked for rhat change yet they changed it. do they not realize how annoying it is???
I did all the things above and it still does it. I even wrote in all the possible misspellings of you as short cuts and it still autocorrects too your. FIX THIS APPLE!!! Cause if I text “how are your doing?” Or “how are your feeling” again I’m going to lose it!
I’m having this problem now and it makes me want to scream. Even worse, it corrects “can” to “can’t,” “do” to “don’t,” and “would” to “wouldn’t.” You can imagine the absolute disasters I’ve narrowly avoided. WTF is going on?
