According to T-Mobile their "Protection<360>" program includes Applecare, and they tell you to bring the phone directly to Apple for any service issues. But you are "level 10," specialist, so of course you knew that...

For what it's worth, the levels are assigned to every user on these boards (you're a level 1). Folks here do not work for Apple.

But, the information that they gave you doesn't seem correct. It's an insurance plan through T-Mobile, not AppleCare+. Here's the info fromT-Mobile: https://www.t-mobile.com/support/devices/protectionandlt360andgt-and-device-protection. Perhaps your have your device serviced through Apple and then file a claim for the cost (which will be a few hundred dollars). You should check with T-Mobile as their site claims walk-in repairs at T-Mobile. You may need to be at a corporate store.

You can also check your Apple Warranty Status at https://checkcoverage.apple.com. The standard warranty will not cover a screen replacement.

I don't work for Apple. I don't work for T-Mobile. And as a user I'm not a T-Mobile customer, so please forgive me for not knowing what T-Mobile protection plans offer. But thanks for posting the link, which unless I'm not capable of understanding does not suggest it includes AppleCare+ Coverage. In fact it refers to Assurant® (formerly known as Tech PHD by Assurant®) which has nothing to do with Apple and is in fact a 3rd party. It does say covers repairs which are covered by AppleCare. AppleCare and AppleCare+ are completely different programs.
