I need to move my pictures to a new MacBook

Pls I need to remove move my pictures from my MacBook and I don’t want it deleted on my iCloud and also if I buy a new MacBook how do I update my those pictures back ?

The most trouble free way to move to a new machine, is using the Setup Assistant on the initial boot of a brand new machine— you have one shot here. https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT205749

The second best way is use the Migration Assistant.
