How to stop Phone telling me that mobile data is off I have mobile data switched off most of the time and wireless off too. I have mobile data disabled for almost every app in settings and yet the phone keeps telling me that "Mobile data is switched off" in a modal popup that I have to respond to before using the phone. Every time I start the calendar app, switch to the browser, or maps, or almost any app. I know mobile data is off because I turned it off because I don't want it used. Is there some setting that will cause it to stop trying to use mobile data when mobile data is disabled for the app? Or at least, stop the prompt appearing all the time.

Data use for apps Hello I turned of the data usage for Instagram and a few other apps so I wouldn’t use up my data, I’d like to turn them back on Now but when I go to settings and switch them back on then try the app it won’t work. When I check settings it’s still off, I have tried shutting the phone down but the apps just won’t stay on. Please help 🙏 it’s iPhone 11 Pro Max

We’d be happy to help you!

We recommend following the steps in View or change cellular data settings on iPhone and making sure Wi-Fi Assist is not affecting this issue.
