Boot into Safe Mode according to Start up your Mac in safe mode - Apple Support and test to see if the problem persists. Reboot normally and test again.
NOTE: Safe Mode boot can take up to 3 - 5 minutes as it's doing the following;
• Verifies your startup disk and attempts to repair directory issues, if needed
• Loads only required kernel extensions (prevents 3rd party kernel/extensions from loading)
• Prevents Startup Items and Login Items from opening automatically
• Disables user-installed fonts
• Deletes font caches, kernel cache, and other system cache files
Please read the following user tip and restate your question/problem in detail:

What happens when you try to print?
Everything "seems" to be working properly. A note appears that it is "Processing page 1" which soon disappears. The print item shows up in the print queue which indicates the item is printing. That also disappears. However, there is absolutely no response from the printer!! The printer works fine on Mojave
Any help greatly appreciated.
Ok i’ll give it a try. I’ll let you know what happens tomorrow
Well Old Toad it didn't work. Tried it several times with no joy. I have included a screen shot of my attempts to print several documents. As you can see my computer thinks everything is fine however, nothing was ever printed from my deskjet 1510.
I thank you for your suggestions. Anymore ideas?

I did as you suggested. Today's print tries were done in safe mode. Evidence was that Startup items didn't at startup. Test print was tried after reboot.
