Hoe To Change Picture in Mail
Whenever I send an email using Mail using my iPhone, my wife's picture (rather than mine) accompanies the email. How can I correct this? Thank you so much.

Hey kitjv,
It sounds like you're seeing an incorrect photo being sent with emails on your iPhone. We can understand wanting to look into that further. We want to help.
What type of email address is this happening with? Is it an iCloud email address or an address from another provider such as Gmail?
Where in the email is the photo appearing? Is it a part of the email signature?
Thanks!
karina184, thank you for the response. I did remove the email address from her Contact card. Unfortunately that did not resolve the issue. To provide some additional information: my wife & I share the same email address. That address is listed on both of our Contact cards. I assume that the photo in the email should be that of the sender. Am I correct?
I suspected that the shared email address was the issue. However, when I delete the email address from my Contact card (and not on my wife's Contact card), the problem still remains. Do I need to actually delete one of our names from the shared Gmail account?
Thank you for your help.
The email is a Gmail address. The photo appears in the upper left corner of the email along with the subject line.
Thank you for your help.
Hey kitjv,
It sounds like you may be referring to a profile photo for your Gmail account.
This article from Google explains how you can change that: Change your Gmail profile picture
Thanks!
I also thought the photo in my Gmail account was my wife's photo. But it is not.
This is perplexing.
Hey kitjv,
If you check the Contacts app on your iPhone, are there any contacts there that show your wife's photo that may have your email address added to the contact information as well?
Thanks!
Yes. My wife & I each have an entry in Contacts. Her photo is associated with her Contact. Also, we share a Gmail account as our primary email address.
Hey kitjv,
If you remove the email address from her Contact card, does that resolve the issue in Mail?
Thanks!
Hey kitjv,
Thanks for following up.

Thanks!
Your problem is caused by you sharing an email address. One of you needs to create your own.
Yes. This isn't a Contacts problem, it is with your Gmail account.
