Apple Credit Card not activating

Anybody facing an issue activating your physical Apple credit card? I keep getting an error that says “feature unavailable”. I tried reaching out to Goldman Sachs and to Apple support, neither seemed to know how to resolve the issue

Hi, I think the Apple support team raised a ticket, but I haven’t heard back from them yet. They tried to talk me through various steps (updating to the latest version, checking if my account was verified, iCloud permissions etc) on screen share but nothing seemed to work so they said they’ll raise a ticket and get back to me. My case number is 101509122964 if that helps. The Goldman Sachs support team asked me to get in touch with apple and they asked me to request for a new physical card - however when I go into the wallet app I don’t have the option to request for a new one - I only have the tab that says activate card.

Great, thank you for replying. Goldman Sachs will probably not be able to resolve this issue, at least initially. Since you have a case number, please call Apple Support Team back. If they didn’t give you a different call back number, please call 1-800-MY-APPLE and connect with the support team again and ask for an update on your case. If there’s is nothing new, please ask the case be escalated to Tier 2.


You’ll need to tell Apple Support that the GS support team said that you will need a new physical Apple Card. Please keep the community posted on your progress.
