MacBook Pro Safari keeps crashing

Hi, I can't seem to run Safari on my MacBook Pro. I can't seem to reinstall the Safari "App" too. And I have the latest macOS Big Sur version 11.6.

What options do I have?

Restart your Mac holding shift to enter Safe Mode, test it there.

Restart normally and test again, see if it got anything better.

Hey, sorry for the delay.

Crash report didn't came with your last post.

As Safari is built into macOS, you'll have to reinstall macOS in order to have Safari reinstalled properly.

macOS installer is design not to erase any data but it's always better to have a backup on an external drive just in case.

To reinstall macOS the less complicated way is you simply restart your Mac holding Command R to enter Recovery Mode. Once there, just choose reinstall.

I usually recommend people to do another way:

*This bootable installer will guarantee you can restore macOS anytime for any reason, not depending in the installation on the Mac's disk or the Internet Recovery.

If you have an M1 Mac, shut down your Mac, turn it back on and keep pressing Power in order to load the menu to choose the installer.

Reinstallation goes same way as above, only the loading procedure differs.
