Dotted line

Had anyone noticed a dotted line on appearing on pictures taken using the back camera?

I have a 3 week old iPhone 13 pro and I noticed this issue a day ago.

I have been back and forth with Apple and troubleshooted my phone including a hard reset.

very disappointing.

Two Things:

A. Start with a Screenshot:

See what happens when you take a screenshot. View the screenshot in the Photos app. Does the line show up in the screenshot? If so, then it is the iOS itself giving you the issue. If not, then it is a hardware issue, and it is time for a new screen or a new camera.  Go here: Take a Screenshot on your iPad - Apple Support

B. Perhaps this is a Faulty Device?:

Note that you have a one-year, out-of-the-box, limited-warranty with this. So, if it is covered under warranty, then see if you can get the screen or camera replaced. Being faulty, it likely would be nothing on you. Ask Apple Support for a new screen.

  • Apple Contact Us:

--- Contact Us - Choose Locations

--- Proceed from there as Necessary

NOTE: Due to the Coronavirus Pandemic, calls are taking a bit linger to get through. And, that makes sense, because many are at home working out-of-the-house or are taking classes over-the-web, this they have more time on their hands to contact Apple Support. So, it might take a bit to get through to Apple Support. But, just stay on the line, and someone will be with you :)
