Safari 15.0 with Catalina still has JavaScript problems with some websites.

Any fix yet as of this date? I tried turning off JavaScript in Safari Security Preferences and it loaded the site, but cannot continue due to Site functionality issues. Geico, LinkedIn, and many other websites.

All my passwords are in Safari and switching to Opera or Firefox would be time-consuming. Come on, Apple!

Hi there iPhoneImages,

While this sounds as if it's an issue with the websites as it's not happening with all of them, we'd like to help however we can. Let's better understand what's happening, along with ruling out some basics:

  1. You mentioned that this occurs on specific websites, but does the same issue occur if you re-enable JavaScript?
  2. What happens if you test loading one of the affected websites in another browser, like Firefox?
  3. Have you already reached out to the website developer to check for compatibility issues with using Safari?
  4. We see you have macOS 10.15 installed, but the latest version that macOS is 10.15.7. While the latest version is macOS 11.6, upgrading to the new macOS at this time isn't necessary. However, we still recommend making sure the current OS version is up to date. You can verify this by clicking on the Apple logo at the top left corner of the screen, then on ‘About This Mac’. Here's how to first Back up your Mac with Time Machine, and afterwards, here's How to update the software on your Mac.

Take care!
