Is it good to use macbook on power when power option is available

Most with some experience would suggest the portable Mac

should be used in manner which complements its strengths;

and carries it through weakness. (It runs on supplemental DC

power; even the main processor + GPU runs at peak on AC.)

To always use grid power & seek it, will extend the battery life

and not add to an abnormally higher cycle count ~from charge

then discharge uses. Those, & natural 'chemical decomposition'

can and do detract, from a longer expected battery life.
