Need to unlock iPhone when syncing with Mac Now days, I have to unlock my iPhone by entering my passcode every time I connect a lightning cable and sync it with my Mac … and I could swear that I didn't used to have to do that. In what way is it "locked"?

Forgot passcode? If you forgot the passcode for your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, or your device is disabled
