Factory reset

Greetings, a good friend of mine gave me his iPad that belonged to his wife who passed away. He cannot locate any of her Apple ID passwords. How can we remove the locked feature. I’ve already done the factory restart.

You will be confronted by Activation Lock. Without the Apple ID and Password of the original owner, you will not be able to use the device. Activation Lock is a theft prevention feature. We cannot help and Apple will not unless you can provide the original receipt clearly showing the serial number. Check this link...
