unknown sender texts

I see unknown sender texts on my iPhone XR but not on Mac laptop, iPad, etc. Nor can I find a setting that will allow it. What gives?

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 11.6

And on iPhone >> Settings >> Messages >> Text Forwarding and choose from listed devices associated with your Apple ID

Thank you for your quick reply. I had 2 of the 3 available devices checked, but added the 3rd. We'll see!
