While my little daughter using her iPhone 7+, she got an iOS, I think 15, update. When she been asked to enter the passcode, she got “ data recovery cannot be completed. Please restore you phone from backup “. Unfortunately, she doesn’t have one. Please advise if there is a fix without factory reset, lose of data. I do appreciate your respond.

There is no fix if she doesn’t have a backup.


After resolving this turn on automatic backups and the problem won’t recur next time.
