icons grayed out in pages

I have a bunch of pictures in pages that are grayed out so I can’t delete or edit them. Why is that and how can I fix it?

Icons on bottom menu missing The last couple of days the icons on the bottom menu have been disappearing. I followed several links to fix in the Finder window, the icons are still missing. Any advice would be appreciated.

mini document icon is in bottom l/h corner a mini document icon is in bottom l/h corner of screen and try as I must I cannot do anything with it nor know just why it is there - anyone know why please?
