Fake Letter/Fruad

Dear Apple,

"Fake Letter/Fraud"

Here in Sri Lanka there is a company called GENXT and they are spreading this Letter with a fake Apple water mark like they have received some kinda authorization over apple products. As citizens of Sri Lanka we need to know about the validity of this issue. Please check and take suitable actions.

Thank you.

Report this:

That image is fraudulent. It is not from Apple, and Apple does not watermark their messages/letters. So, forward this screenshot/photo off to Apple at: reportphising@apple.com, informing them what this eMail is all about: a report of a scam message/letter.

"Thanks for the update.: just to confirm is this a company impersonating GenXT or the company itself?"

It is an Impersonation (Fraudulent):

This is a fraudulent letter, because it is watermarked. Also, look for yourself, and you will see there are plenty of space errors (open parentheses, and those located after dates provided).

So, report this message as I mentioned above, then trash this message, and remove it from your archived mailbox, having forwarded it off and reporting it to Apple.
