Managing Screen Saver from WGM

I setup the a machine with the screen saver settings I wanted to use for all machines. I imported those settings into WGM. The problem is that not all of the machines adhere to those settings. Only a few. These machines are cloned images.
I set it up as a Computer Group.
Server: 10.6.2
WS: 10.6.4

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.6.4), werd

Do you have the MAC addresses entered into WGM for each computer you're managing? I found that things like the login screen's welcome message, for example, didn't get properly set until I entered a MAC address.

What I do not know is if/how a local user's settings can override the WGM setting even if 'manage' is set to 'always'.

The machines are bound to OD by hostname. I did not enter the mac address but the mac address is present for each machine in WGM.
