If you want the Hermes logo on your watch, you're going to pay more for it. It's just that simple. You pay for status and for someone who wants or needs their watch to show status such as Hermes on the watch, they'll willingly pay more for it. This would be no different than for example, buying a Gucci Bag. Gucci doesn't use better leather. They simply charge more for the status of owning a Gucci Bag. And people willingly pay more for it.
