MacBook Pro 16-inch 2019 makes a WHOOSH sound then turns off. It won't turn back on.

MacBook Pro 16-inch 2019 makes a WHOOSH sound then turns off. It won't turn back on for a day. Then randomly will be able to turn on again. It's happened a third time and won't turn on now. What's wrong?

Try resetting the SMC http://support.apple.com/kb/ht3964

Try resetting NVRAM/PRAM http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1379

(get at least two-three rounds of the chimes when holding the NRAM Reset)

if no resolve

I have seen that behaviour and it's bad news (99% of the time is Main Logic Board + Touch ID replacement) BUT try to locate another Mac and run Apple Configurator 2 to revive/restore it.

Instructions here -> https://support.apple.com/guide/apple-configurator-2/revive-or-restore-an-intel-based-mac-apdebea5be51/mac

If you continue with that behaviour take your MacBook to Apple or an AASP.

MacBook Pro 16-inch 2019 makes a WHOOSH sound then turns off. It won't turn back on.
