Optimise your photos- that should help you get 30 plus gbs free. Your full res photos will be saved on icloud and a smaller version will be saved on your phone memory
Tap Settings > [your name] > iCloud > Photos. Turn on iCloud Photos. Select Optimize iPhone Storage to save space on your device.
