The Apple ID has not been used in the iTune store

Unable to set up the new iPhone and I get the above message despite I provided my apple ID and PW

Contact Apple Support:

If you cannot get in, then this seems to be a glitch in Apple's user database, by your wording. So, contact Apple Support, requesting assistance.
