when connected to a watch how do I get my phone calls to always ring on my phone

I am having the same problem and in doing a research there are many ppl with the same problem. I have done exactly as you suggested and it did not help. When I take my watch off after work and it is in a separate room from my phone, my phone will flash when aa call or message or any notification comes through, but it does not make any noise. I have turned off the Bluetooth and even turned off the wifi and still no sound. If I am not looking at my phone I do not see that someone has called. FYI I turned off phone and message notifications on my watch and it has done nothing to solve the no sounds.
