Photos

My Photos app crashed when I was trying to uploud pictures, and I lost all of my pictures in there. icloud was not turned on. Is there a way to recover them?

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 10.14

Are you sure you have lost them. Is it possible you are now opening a different library without your images?

Try holding down the option key while starting photos. It should list all the libraries on your system - does one of them hold your photos?
