I have an iPhone 12 Pro max that has recently been in contact with water. And since then, the phone keeps on restarting every 3 to 4 min but everything works perfectly fine when it’s ON. I would like to know what would be the trade in value for the phone in such conditions.

You can check this yourself by going to any iPhone on the Apple store and selecting trade in, see attached image. Follow the steps from there and it should give you your answer. Since it has been in contact with water and it is having problems from that incident I highly doubt that Apple will accept your trade in but it is worth a shot

Yeah it is. Depends on what the issue is though. It does take a fair bit of expertise and the correct equipment
