Safari icon issue
Finally learned how to get safari icon back on screen but it is somehow attached to Crate & Barrel. When I tap the safari icon, I get only crate & barrel ad, nothing like safari.

I suggest you need to go into Safari's preferences. Under the General tab you will find "Homepage". There you can reenter the URL for the Safari home page you wish to have it open with. That should fix this problem for you.
