Why does my apple watch lose its charge quickly? Tried to update watch but it will not update.

How old is your Apple Watch? Which model?
The obvious suspect is a failing watch battery. You can check this on the watch in the Settings app, then if necessary contact Apple Support to arrange service. Use link https://getsupport.apple.com
