private relay connects and disconnects CONSTANTLY. im getting 20+ notifications every day and its driving me crazy.
Apple, PLEASE enable us to silence these notifications as we can for every other vpn app on the app store.

Thanks again for your attention.
Constant notifications about private relay turning on and off are irritating. I want to use private relay and I also understand that when I’m traveling and switching between wifi and cell networks that some may not support private relay and therefore it may be unavailable for a time. I definitely do NOT need to see a pop up notification every single time this happens.
Thanks for your reply however I’m not interested in disabling the service I’m only interested in disabling the irritating notifications which constantly pop up.
It's clear you didn't read the original question - it was about *notifications* not about private relay. I have this problem as well, and it's extremely annoying.
Mac user here (as well as iPhone user). Some option to turn off Private Relay notifications (but keep the service active!) would be great, just like I have the ability to turn off app notifications while keeping the app on my device. I'm frequently on unstable public Wi-Fi, and every time I get disconnected and reconnected I have to dismiss the notification twice.
Yes, this won't happen because the annoying banner alert is intended to be annoying so that you turn the service off. When the service is on you do not receive any alerts because there is a financial benefit to Apple to have your activity tracked. It's annoying on purpose because by using this option you're costing them revenue.
Apple is killing me with their nonstop notifications. Ironically I switched to a Mac 25 years ago because PCs were flooded with popups. Now Apple is flooding us with unnecessary popups that cannot be disabled.
Speaking of feature requests, how about a "Not Helpful" button?
finally some one grasp concept just want ability to turn off notifications, & keep the app private relay. Hope is updated soon jooz10 that’s annoying
I think an indicator in control center would be sufficient. Or at least some options to control notification delivery the same way every other app works: swipe left, hit options, get the choice to turn off, mute, or view settings.
😊🙏🏼
I never thought Apple Communities would be a loitering hole for loonies. Are the Discord and InfoWars servers down?
Hello Jooz10,
Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. Based on your post, you'd like to stop iCloud Private Relay notifications on your iPhone.
You came from the best resource for your concern: About iCloud Private Relay
It states, "You can turn off iCloud Private Relay in Settings > [your name] > iCloud > Private Relay."
Make sure if you're using a VPN or security software, to disable them and restart the device, as these may be blocking the connection.
In case you have a profile set up preventing you from disabling the service: Install or remove configuration profiles on iPhone
(If this is a business or educational device, then we'd recommend contacting your IT department for further steps.)
Should it persist and you can't disable the service, then it would be best to contact Apple directly: Get Support
Wishing you well, take care.
So we are stuck with the pop up notifications. Got it.
The problem is these aren't notifications like a text message or an email, they are a warning message. Putting it in Control Center would not be sufficient as many people would never see it. But you can suggest it to Apple here: Feedback - iPhone - Apple
