Trying to turn my Mac on and all I get is two vertical lines down the middle. It won't turn on.

Possible solution?

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 11.6

Sounds like a an issue with the either the GPU or Screen Assembly.

You can try on the Intel Mac—

resetting the SMC http://support.apple.com/kb/ht3964

resetting NVRAM/PRAM http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1379

If your Mac starts up to a blank screen (white, black, gray, or blue)

if no resolve:

In or out of warranty you can get a free over the counter 'Apple Service Diagnostics' test /assessment

Make an appointment for a "hardware issue"—
