Apple credit card often doesn’t work when I use NYC Transi

I have the Apple credit card and use it almost everywhere through using Apple Pay. But recently it often doesn’t work when I use it on The NYC MTA transit for riding the subway and bus. I know it’s not an issue with Apple Pay because then I use my other credit card to pay and it works fine.

I can only think it’s an issue with the Apple credit card and the Omny pay system. I’m sure there are tons of others like me having this frustrating experience so I’d think both Goldman Sachs and Apple would want to resolve this with the MTA, otherwise I will keep having to use a different card to pay and might just get rid of my Apple credit card altogether.
