Apple Music Glitch

I have that iPhone 13 pro max with the latest software update IOS 15. I have an active Apple Music subscription, but half the songs I try to play won’t work. The app will try for about 10 seconds and then time out or give me an error. I have already tried turning my phone on and off and even uninstalling and reinstalling the app. Is there a fix for this?

Hey haliesaint,


We suggest signing out of your iCloud account and signing back in. This process will delete all downloaded music which means they will need to be downloaded again afterward.

We see you're experiencing an issue with the Apple Music app. Lets start with making sure iOS 15.0.2 is installed: Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch


If issue persists, let us know if this happen with music that's downloaded or music that is streaming. Also, does it happen with cellular data and also Wi-Fi networks.

Hello,


The error will randomly say “request timed out” but only after multiple attempts. 9/10 times after hitting play, the app will try for 10 seconds and then time out without an error message. While attempting to play a playlist, it will skip over 2-4 songs in a row before it will play a song

This doesn't make sense with the new update in iphone 13 pro max. I have the same issue and with which I couldn't download imusic songs and couldn't play any songs, time out errors, song shows olaying but in reality no sound coming out of speakers. FYI youtube music and other music apps works.

I’m having the same issue. Updated my phone, tried signing out, restarting the app… restarting the phone. Phone will play purchased music for 2 songs, request timed out, won’t play anything for 10 minutes. Sometimes playlists will play (downloaded songs) and it will quit. Very frustrating.

Same problem for me also... incredibly frustrating. I am often in the middle of listening to songs playing on HomePod and it randomly stops playing in the middle of the song and times out. All software on all devices are up to date.


This clearly needs immediate attention and a software fix from Apple

iOS Music App is broken since ages. Skipping downloaded songs, no matter whether the device is on Wi-Fi or LTE. Often the app skipps 3 or 4 downloaded songs or plays the song but no music is audible. It’s barely usable. I am on a paid subscription. It’s ridiculous.
