need updated browser

As you may know, the Safari browser can only be upgraded by installing a newer OS. However, you can download another browser which can be individually upgraded, such as Firefox or Chrome. There are a number of them out there to choose from. I like Firefox.

Your computer can be upgraded at least as far as High Sierra. If you don't want to, download and try out Firefox, Chrome, iCab, and other browsers; nobody on these boards can tell you which one would be the best for you.
