How to use Live Listen with iPhone 8 and Phillips HearLink hearing aids

I’m trying to use Live Listen with my iPhone 8. I have

Phillips HearLink 9010 miniRITE T hearing aids connected to my iPhone 8.  I can rout my audio and ringtones to the

hearing aids.  But the Live Listen

program does not seem to recognize my connected hearing aids.  The message is:  “Connect a compatible audio device to use

Live Listen”.

What am I doing or assuming that is wrong?
