Can you make safari your default on iPhone?

Go to Settings > Safari > Default Browser App and change it to Safari.

Note that if your browser default is already Safari then "Default Browser App" will not be an option displayed in Settings > Safari. You will however see that option on other browsers that you have installed if they are not the default.
