What does warranty mean?
I'm Japanese and contracted with Japanese carrier. Right now I could use it with Sprint because that Japanese carrier
has relationship. But I'm worried if when I was back to Japan, my iPhone purchased in USA will work with 4G or 5G.
Well Sprint is gone so you better recheck that. What I mean by the warranty is if you are in Japan and the phone hardware fails do to a manufacturing defect you cannot go to the Apple Store in Japan to get it replaced, you will have to return to the US for service.
