On my iPad, I am using the automation facility of the shortcuts app to set the playback device to my HomePod and then to speak a text message at sunset. This message is outputon my iPad rather than the HomePod. I’ve tried everything, reordering actions, adding a wait, etc. and nothing works. Is this an iOS 15 bug?

If it worked previously, and you've attempted to adjust the settings, the next step will be to remove the automation and set it up again: Create scenes and automations with the Home app. We hope this helps.
