M1 MacBook Air - only charging though one of the two Thunderbolt ports

• Please verify you completed the restart On your Mac, choose Apple menu  > Restart. "Reset the SMC: Reset the System Management Controller (SMC), which controls how your Mac manages power. If you have a Mac with Apple Silicon, just restart your computer."

If you still have issues, you will need the device and cables checked at an Apple Authorized Service Provider or Apple Store. Apple Locate

Did you check with another compatible usb-c charger and usb-c cable?

You should probably take the computer to an Apple Store or AASP and tell them about the issue so they can run some tests and see if the malfunction replicates. Computer is still under factory warranty.
