When my screen is over a white background I can see what looks like a call screen with all options showing through. When I try to take a screenshot it doesn’t show up so assuming the image is burnt into the screen. I haven’t been able to find much info on this bug so was hoping to find help here.

Thank you for posting in the Apple Support Communities. It sounds like you're having some trouble with the display on your XS Max, correct? If so, we would love to help see if we can get the issue resolved for you. Is the issue continuous? Does restarting the device change anything?
Also, let's go ahead and see if you have any iOS updates that need to be installed. If so, we recommend backing up the device and updating to see if the issue remains.
