Hello,
I have an iPhone 12 and I recently bought extra storage (2 TB) for my phone however every time I take a video it always pauses it and tells me that I have no storage. I am getting very annoyed because I don't even have a ton of photos on my phone or apps. I have no idea why I am getting those messages.

That would be impossible. What you bought is iCloud storage.
