Apple Care

I pay for Apple Care monthly for $9.99. Whenever I redeem an iTunes card, my Apple Care is being taken out of that. I checked my payment type and only my debit card is listed so why is it still coming out of the iTunes money?

It's treated as an iTunes Store subscription. These come out of store credit first when allowed.
