I’ve been dealing with this for like 3 hours!! Every time I use the command key it shows me the home screen. You don’t realize how often you use something until it doesn’t work correctly. I found a fix though!! It’s system preferences > mission control. The last option should say Show Desktop, it’ll probably say F11 or - if its working correctly. If it’s anything other than those two options, that’s the problem.

Look at your keyboard short cuts and "restore defaults"
>System Preferences>Keyboard make some changes
