iOS 15.0.2 update

Does the iOS 15.0.2 update drain your battery? many people i have spoken to are having this issue after doing the iOS 15.0.2 update.

Some have reported greater battery usage, but that is likely because after installing a new iOS version, the phone needs to update several internal databases, so it will briefly use more power than usual.


Be sure to check Settings -> Battery for any applications that may be using more power than usual as well; some app vendors do not yet have their apps properly optimized for iOS 15.

Yes. I'm an iPhone 8 user - it was working properly until I updated to 15.0.2. It ruined my phone. On the first day it drained the battery within a couple of hours, turned off with 39% charge. Then got worse. Apps quit unexpectedly, iphone turns off though it's fully charged. It only works while connected to a power source.

Tried re-installing iOS twice, didn't work.

Kind of desperate here - totally depend on it for work. Apple killed my iPhone.
