Charging battery

Is there any way to turn off charging when using a USB-C connected monitor that provides pass-through power and therefore charging?

Is that safe to keep connected a USB-C monitor that can charge with 96W? Hi, I have a 16-inch MacBook Pro M2 connected to LG 27up850N-W Monitor that has 96W charging power. Is it safe for my battery (Long run) to be connected most of the day while I am working (the battery is 100% with the charging icon while connected)? I only disconnect during the night. Connect the power adapter to the computer first, and the power adapter will be used preferentially.

Some Background:

MacBook Pro use smart charging through USB Power Delivery and negotiates Voltage and Current delivery with smart charging devices.

Simply connecting a power source does NOT automatically charge your computer. the computer commands the entire charging process, and a power supply cannot "force itself" on your computer.
