Found solution in another thread. Do a forced restart. Fixed my problem.

Push up volume, release, then down volume, release, then hold down power button until phone is off. Continue to hold until apple logo reappears. Magically the search function is back where it is supposed to be.

Swipe down from the top on Home-screen open Notifications.

Swipe down from the middle of the Home screen, you will see the search field.

I had same issue. Forced restart solved it.

Still missing. Just a blurred screen. Using iPhone 12. Updated to 15.0.02. And that’s is when it disappeared.

I have a problem with spotlight future on iphone 13 pro ios 15. The spotlight search is not able to search any app on App store, movies, musics,...etc.

Please your help.

Having exact same issue. iPhone 13, iOS 15.2. Tried resets, tried restoring tried erasing all and restoring from iCloud. All without success
