My watch is connected to Wi-Fi and on its charger but it won’t update. I’ve tried updating from the watch and from my phone but it won’t do it. It just keeps saying that the watch has to be 50% charged and on WiFi. Why won’t it update??

Okay thank God it finally updated but I’m still having the issue of the watch not turning on when I raise my wrist. It was doing it when I first got it but when I changed the screen protector on it now it won’t turn on when I raise my wrist.
If you still have this issue, check the My Watch tab > Display & Brightness > Wake on Wrist Raise setting in the Watch app on iPhone. Is it on or off?
Check to see if you have theatre mode turned on;
What model of phone is it and what version of ios is it running?
What troubleshooting steps have you tried?.
What errror messages are you receiving?.
Okay I fixed it I think. I turned off my watch for 30 seconds and turned it back on again and now it’s acting like it’s updating. 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻
