Safaris no longer working. How to remove it and reinstall it?

It looks like Safari has crashed! It keep showing a message: Safari quit unexpectedly. I keep clicking "Reopen' on that message but same issue. Restarted the machine twice but didn't resolve the problem. I'm using iMac with macOS v11.6

Do a backup, preferable 2 separate ones on 2 drives. Boot to the Recovery Volume (command - R on a restart). Run Disk Utility and select First Aid. Then re-install the OS.

Reinstall from macOS Recovery.

OS X Recovery.
