When will boot camp work on M1 Macs ?

now that Apple has improved on the designs of the new MacBook Pros getting a new MacBook looks more appealing, like having a mag safe , and hdmi port for graphics/Wacom tablet , there is one last thing I NEED is boot camp to work on an m1 chip MacBook , as I need to use windows for some software you can’t work on macOS… when will Apple make boot camp work on an Apple M1 chip ? As eventually all their devices would run on their own processors , they can’t just throw boot camp away , can they ?

Maybe your question should be, when will Microsoft release a version of Windows that will run on the M1 chip.

Windows has an ARM version but it has not been released to the public. You have to use BootCamp on intel versions of Macs to run Windows.

Has anyone tried to dualboot their M1 Macs without boot camp ? Such as boot off an external windows drive ? Isn’t windows 10 and 11 also have ARM support ?
