IMEI number not verifying

I just got an iPhone 12. My device’s IMEI number is not getting verifying. Wherever I am putting my IMEI number for a check, they say it’s an error. Although the Apple ID and all are fine. It’s just been 8 days since I got this phone. What should I do??
